Configure Windows XP SP2 for use with OPC on server

opc_server_da.exe registration
In a console window run the command:
opc_server_da.exe /r
opc_server_da.exe unregistration
In a console window run the command:
opc_server_da.exe /u
OPC Server configuration parameters
The OPC Server ProgID is: Enscada.OPC.Srv
The OPC Server CLSID is: {78BB6572-B8BA-47f9-83B3-4EC99DF9B1A3}

Run cmd from start menu with Ctrl+Shift+Enter
In the Administrator console window run the command:
opc_server_da.exe /r
opc_server_da.exe unregistration
In the Administrator console window run the command:
opc_server_da.exe /u

Configure server database:
Go to C:\scada\bin and run protocol_configurator.exe
Configure C:\scada\project\opc_server_da.db with ItemID name, OPC type and IOA
